American Precision Style tooling features a 0.500-inch wide tang.

There are two types of common configurations as below.

We always use raw material 42CrMo4 to produce the popular press brake tooling and all the tooling are hardened and ground to reach the hardness of 48~52 HRC (Rockwell hardness), the procedure for holistic heat treatment is as follow : 

quenching + tempering + 860 °C Oil quenching + 390°C Tempering .

At last ,the tolerance of tooling we can control is +/-0.02mm

Standard American up tooling section:

Standard American up tooling L=36 inch(914.4mm)  or S=18 inch (457.2 mm)
