Panel Bender Blades

The panel bender is an automatic machine designed for bending thin plates with a thickness range of 1.0-3.0mm.

It is ideal for bending materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

This machine is widely used in sheet metal fabrication.

The panel bender tooling consists of four blades: the upper blade, lower blade, blank holder, and counterblade. These four tools are universally used in the bending process.

The upper and lower blades (A, D) are the two tools that move with interpolated control and are responsible for the bending process.

The automatic blank holder (B) works in conjunction with the blades and counterblade to bend and securely clamp the sheet with precision and efficiency. It adjusts the tool length based on the size of the part being produced during the cycle, eliminating machine downtime or the need for manual retooling. The tool profile also allows for inward bends.

The counterblade (C) assists in clamping the sheet throughout the cycle.
