An electric bending machine is a commonly used piece of equipment in metalworking, designed to bend thin  sheet metal sheets for high precision. Its structure consists of several key components:

1.low table 2.servo motor 3.electric cylinder 4.linear guide 5.guide wheel base

6.Eccentric guide wheel 7.Guide 8.Base 9.Driving pully

1.Frame

The frame is the main structural body of the bending machine, typically constructed from high-strength steel to ensure stability and durability. The frame and ram are processed at one time completely by heavy duty boring and milling machine.

2.Worktable

The worktable is the surface where the metal sheet is placed and secured during bending. It often features T-slots for mounting clamps and molds. The working table intalled press brake low die on it.It mounts mechanical crowning ,low die seat and low die.

3.Upper and Lower Molds

The upper and lower molds are the core components for bending operations. The upper mold is attached to the slide block, while the lower mold is fixed on the worktable. Different mold shapes determine the bending angle and shape.

There are many type of punch and die can be installed on the press brake for bending different shape sheet metal.

4.Slide Block (Upper Beam)

The slide block moves the upper mold up and down. It is controlled by the electric drive system and directly affects the bending process.

5.Electric Drive System

The electric drive system usually consists of servo motors, ball screws, and transmission mechanisms. The servo motor provides power, converting rotational motion into the linear motion of the slide block for precise bending.

6.Back Gauge

The back gauge is used to position and support the metal sheet. It can be adjusted according to the size and bending requirements of the sheet to ensure accuracy.

YY1Y2axis: ram synchronous control axis, controlling bending depth and angle control.

XX1X2axis: Control for back gauge front-back stroke, using controlling bending flange size

RR1R2axis: Control for back gauge beam up-down

ZZ1Z2axis: Controlled back gauge finger left-right movement.

7.Control System

The control system is the brain of the bending machine, typically consisting of a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) system. Operators can input bending parameters (such as angle and position) through a control panel, achieving automated and precise control.

Hydraulic or Pneumatic Assist System

Some electric bending machines are equipped with hydraulic or pneumatic systems to provide additional pressure and stability, especially when processing thicker or harder sheets.Hydraulic or Pneumatic assist system can used for clamp press brake and die.

Safety Devices

Safety devices include light curtains, emergency stop buttons, and safety  covers from side and backgauge to ensure the operator's safety during use.

By coordinating these components, an electric bending machine can efficiently and accurately perform metal sheet bending tasks, making it an essential tool in metalworking industries.
