New Corner Forming Technique Without Welding

Metal Enclosures are common sheet metal in industrial. .Industrial Types Enclosures are Aluminum enclosures, Floor Standing Steel Enclosures, Sheet Steel Enclosure, Wall Mounted Steel Enclosures and so on.

How do these sheet metal corners are produced? Normally they are cutting by a sheet metal shearing machine,then  cutting four corners by hydraulic angle cutting machine ,then bended by a hydraulic press brake ,at laser welded by welding machines.

Consider the welding is an arduous job and young men do not like this job. Rizhen machinery researched and developed a new corner forming technique.

1.What raw material can use the sheet panel corner forming technique

1. 0.8-3.0mm thickness Aluminum plate

2. 0.5-3.0mm thickness Cold-rolled plate less

3.0.5-3.0 mm thickness Mild steel Plate

4.0.5-2.5 mm thickness Stainless Steel

2.What Corer Radius Can Steel Panel corner forming technique?

Radius can reach R 54mm

3.What plate can the corner forming produce?

Big than 140x140mm

4.What is the corner forming process

4.1. cutting the plate by a hydraulic shearing machine or cnc laser cutting machine

Cutting the materail is an correct way is important for forming a good quality corner.

For fiber laser cutting machine ,cut like the following:

R=U x Bendig Height (Contains the plate thickness)

Cool steel U=1.8

Stainless Steel U=1.6

Aluminum U=1.9-2.0

If you cut by hydraulic shearing machine ,please cut like the below:

C=Bending Height (include the thickness of the plate)

L=0.4xBending height(contans the plate thickness)

4.2. bending the four corners by cnc press brake with grinded low die

5.Sheet Metal Enclosures Corner Forming Machine Feature:

5.1.Touch screen ,PLC control tool gap and working process.

5.2. Servo motor + ball screw control roller to square tool gap according to plate thickness.

5.3. Then hydraulic station drives roller to finish forming.

5.4. Square inner support has 4 corners. Each corner can be identify different inner radius according to thickness;

5.5 Optic safety curtain will protect operator in operating area.

5.6. Pneumatic safety door is with protection plate for work piece panel top surface. so that the door will automatically open/close according to working process.

5.7. Compact hydraulic valve block give machine with enough working force and easy maintenance.

5.8. hydraulic corner shear will cut the scrap edge after corner forming;

5.9. In general, two step foot control switch can control corner forming and scrap corner cutting;

5.10. Two adjustable support arms will help operator to handle bigger sheet panel easily and finish corner forming perfectly.
