Press Brake Bending Aid Structure:

The front material support mechanism for bending consists of two main servo motors for power drive. To accommodate molds of different heights, the system ensures that the upper surface of the flip plate remains level with the upper surface of the lower die. Power is transferred through pulleys to drive a screw, which moves the entire sliding seat up and down.

Working principle of the press brake aid mechanism:

1.A second servo motor installed on the sliding seat drives a screw via pulleys. The screw features a long keyway, with a pin positioned at the keyway's upper dead point.

2.The screw's rotational motion is converted into vertical movement along the keyway by the pin, which drives the flip plate in a circular motion around a fixed point. This ensures the flip plate stays in close contact with the sheet, completing the full bending process.

3.The left-to-right movement of the front material support mechanism is manually controlled, allowing it to move along linear guides mounted at the front of the CNC press brake table.

4.Operators can freely move the mechanism for bending operations, using it individually or in pairs, depending on the sheet width and their needs.

A single press brake bending aid device is designed to assist with handling and supporting the sheet metal during the bending process, particularly for larger or heavier sheets. It moves in sync with the press brake, ensuring the material stays level and preventing sagging or shifting.
